But it’s really the extensive resources that the firm has nationally that get the job done for them. This international firm brings world class expertise to the Rocky Mountains. |
4 Description:Holland and Hart boasts one of the most expensive Natural Resources practices in the western states. And it’s their expertise in Natural Resources that warrants inclusion here. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t have other areas to brag about. The firm has an outstanding IP practice as well as expertise in esoteric area like “persuasion strategies.” |
5 Description:Bruce. James heads the Denver office as CEO for this western leaning firm that speciaizes in public land, natural resources and government relations. Oh yeah, it also has a big presence in real estate development and investments run out the Denver office. |
6 Description:Benzera and Culver specializes in civil right litigation, employment litigation, and they are apparently darn good at it too. Both Benzera and Culver were recognized recently in 5280 as being some of Colorado’s top lawyers in their field. |
7 Description:F&B makes it to the list because Bill Leone, one of its partners, knows a ton about securities law, especially on the enforcement side. That means he knows how to curtail stock market crime. And we don’t have enough of those kinds of guys around. |
8 Description:As a local firm with a big firm feel, RJ&L has some unique features that warrant inclusion on our list. They have practice area for school financing and charter schools, for eminent domain as well as the usual election and campaign finance practices. They also have Michael Sullivan, the former Governor of Wyoming and Ambassador to Ireland, who works out of the Casper, WY office. Bet you didn’t know that. |
9 Description:Zachem Atherton makes the list because John Zachem works hard at government relations. While a very small firm, the firm can reach into the smaller local communities like no other firm on our list. |
10 Description:Run by former Colorado State Senator John Evans, who was previously Assistant Majority Leader, Evan’s tiny boutique firm also maintains excellent relations with municipal and state government officials. |
