Armstrong picks up endorsements from local GOP lawmakers

Several Republicans from the 6th Congressional District announced their support for Wil Armstrong today, according to a press release from the Armstrong campaign.

Armstrong is one of four Republicans running to fill the seat U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Littleton) is vacating.

Durham does Denver (and the legislature too)

On Monday night Tom Tancredo took the opening steps in his drive to become US Senator in 2010 by hosting a “social” for various legislators at Strings, an Italian restaurant at 1700 Humbolt Street in Denver, along with lobbyist Steve Durham.

Colorado’s Top Ten Republocracts

Some people call them centrists – others see them as opportunists or traitors:  it’s the group of Colorado politicians who have been viewed, from time to time, by members of their own party as ideologically-challenged.  For some, it’s not so much that they don’t have any philosophic underpinnings -- it just that they like themselves way too much to tie themselves to a mere political party. For others, it’s that they have philosophic underpinnings that go against their party.
