McCain brokers Mideast peace in Denver

Presidential candidate John McCain managed to broker a small Middle East Peace accord prior his foreign policy speech today in Denver. Wally spied Republican candidates for the HD-6 seat Joshua Sharf and Rima Sinclair both sitting in the VIP section during the McCain event today.

Sinclair, a Muslim who has often spoken out in favor of Hamas and the Palestinians, has enjoyed a certain notoriety that apparently does not stop her from writing checks to the McCain campaign nor the McCain campaign from cashing them in all likelihood. We say that, but we want to be clear: we haven't checked the campaign finance records, yet. But by all accounts, it'd be hard to get a seat in the VIP section without a hefty contribution.

Sharf, who is Jewish, has been critical of Sinclair's "anti-Israel propaganda," and has claimed she works as a "terror apologist" through Muslims Intent on Learning and Action.

Earlier this year CD 6 candidate Mike Coffman returned a Sinclair check after some complained about her ties to Muslim organizations and some comments she made that are available via youtube.

Wonder which one the McCain folks decided to cash that check? You know, if there was a check to cash.
