Remembering Pat Schroeder's treehouse
By Wally EdgeHillary Clinton’s campaign for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination came to an end on Saturday, prompting our recollection of Colorado Congresswoman Pat Schroeder’s comments after deciding not to run for President in 1988: "The White House is still a great big treehouse with a 'No girls allowed' sign on it. And it is going to take a while."
